SAFETY IN NUMBERS

Kidde Fyrnetics congratulates City Electrical Factors (CEF) on their first year of operation and rapid growth in Ireland.

From the opening of the first Irish CEF branch in Sligo in March 2005 – actually the 1000th CEF branch worldwide – seven branches have now been opened around Ireland with a further seven planned by the end of 2006. Established in 1951, CEF is a private limited company and the fastest growing electrical wholesaler.
Gerald O’Hare, one of two Group Managers in Ireland said: “as well as training, service, expertise and competitive pricing, stocking the best quality products is central to CEF’s philosophy. So, we are very pleased to stock the Slick® range of hard-wired smoke and heat alarms from Kidde Fyrnetics, part of the world’s leading manufacturer of fire detection and suppression systems.”

The ‘Slick’® range is the only range of fast-fit, rechargeable alarms guaranteed for 10 years. Alarms are hard-wired in Optical, Ionisation and Heat Alarm variants and interconnectable, with a neat and inconspicuous appearance. Four rechargeable lithium cells on the circuit board give up to 8 months continuous backup in the event of mains failure. Typical Kidde product features such as separate test & hush buttons aid clarity for the user, as do twin LED s showing the alarm’s current operational state.
