Battery & Mains Plug In CO alarms for self installation

*Be wary of buying Battery CO alarms off "E Bay"; many of these are not manufactured to the European CO Alarm Standard BSEN 50291.
They will not therefore have a valid Guarantee in this country. The easiest way to tell is to ensure the front of the alarm shows an image including the BS Kitemark Symbol, on the E Bay sellers web page. Products made for the North American market have a Guarantee operated by Kidde in the USA with whom any claims would have to be raised.
