Current Sales Vacancies in Kidde Fyrnetics

We are currently seeking a number of additional Specification Sales Managers to win specs for our range of hard wired smoke, carbon monoxide & heat alarms.

If you have experience within the UK electrical and or building products spec. market your talents may well be of interest.

Working from your home office, with a company car/mobile & laptop you would work within the defined geographical area to identify from our extensive information databases, your contacts the key specifiers/stakeholders in the following areas:

  • Local Councils with Housing Stocks
  • ALMO's
  • HA's/RSL's
  • F.M. Companies
  • Large Electrical Installers


Working with electrical wholesale partners who deliver logistics on our behalf; these you would manage & motivate to achieve sales growth on the Kidde ranges.

Experience of working with electrical contractors, with site visits when necessary is also part of the role.

Additionally a limited amount of time would be spent on our Fire Brigade range of alarms, requiring regular contact with Fire Brigade County HQ's in the territory.



Technical Support Manager:

Additionally we seek a competent Technical Support Manager to work alongside & with the Sales Team in handling installer, user & specifier enquiries.
These may be over the phone, or via e mail  and will require field visits in some instances. 

You would also work with Sales Management in preparing documentation/support material to generate new specifications.

The individual needs to be well versed in the 17th Edition, and the relevant parts of the Building Regs. You will deal with specifiers & installers to recommend good practice regards the selection, siting & installation of hard wired, smoke, heat & CO alarms. Additionally to resolve any installation difficulties that may arise. Product training for electrical wholesale partners & sales staff would also be a key role, and explaining how Regulations & Standard changes affect our products

You need to be totally comfortable in making group (CPD Type) presentations on Residential Fire & CO Safety to the target groups above; this would either be with sales team members, or on your own.

Experience with Contractor Installer bodies such as ECA/Select/NICEIC would be beneficial.
You would prepare preliminary reports on returned product & liaise with UK Management, & Engineering Teams in the US & China, as part of our continuous improvement process. The candidate will provide vital input to Engineering
with Voice Of The Customer feedback.

It is envisaged the candidate will work from their home.

The company is HQ'd at Colnbrook, near London Airport, with a warehouse managed by a Logistics partner in Cheshire.
